Patrice Olsen is a Chicago-based visual artist and a member of the Fine Arts Building Studios collective since 2009. 

As an artist, Patrice is available to collaborate on artwork for public spaces, large scale installations, and other commissioned work. Her artwork consists of drawing and painting landscapes, figurative, and portraiture.

As an academic, her work focuses on writing, teaching, and promoting human rights throughout Latin America. As a social justice advocate and documentary photographer, her writing and photographs have been featured in publications including “The Politics of Latin America: the Power Game,” and her book “Artifacts of Revolution: Architecture, Society, and Politics in Mexico City, 1920 to 1940.”
